Before we move out, I'm trying to document our little apartment for Sugar Pea, since it was her first home. I thought I'd share a few shots of the living room with all you Dollfaces. I love this little corner next to the fireplace with a painting by my great grandfather next to my prized five dollar 1960s dryer chair.
I hung my vintage clocks over the turquoise slipper chairs, which were purchased separately and are actually covered in different fabrics. They were meant to live together, no? A vintage glass and Lucite tray on the 1960's green storage ottoman provides a place for magazines or a drink in the absence of a coffee table in our small living room.
Here comes Sugar Pea after playing in Mama's aprons.
Here's to the future, a roomier house all our own, and no more "Rental White" walls!

I love your little apartment and I'm sure your little sugarpea will enjoy looking back at it. But Sweethearts deserve all their dreams and the very best of luck while pursuing them. Keep posting so we will know how it's going.
I am so envious of your collections and it has become obvious that I need to work a little harder at finding good fifties stuff for my 50's ranch house.
(It's not one of the cool ones either, very plain house. But I still love it.)
Everything looks adorable and you will be soo happy you took the time to document babys 1st home!
Wowie zowie, love your place, the clocks, the colors, the dryer chair, the sugar pea : ) You have perfect taste and class!
It's adorable! I can't wait to see what you'll do with a real house!
