Little Chairs
Last weekend I got to go to one of my favorite thrift stores for the first time in probably about a year. I went on a mission to find something, anything to wear for that super fun window between maternity clothes and pre baby stuff in which I still find myself. Wouldn't you know, I didn't find one single article of clothing, but I did come away with a few good books, a sweet vintage baby dress, and this perfect little handmade twig chair. I have a serious soft spot for twig and bentwood furniture. It comes from my love for The Ozarks (and my Happy Place) and my childhood obsession with all things pioneer and old-timey. As a little girl, I wanted to live in a log cabin full of the stuff. Making twig furniture is on my list of "someday" skills to learn.
Apparently, I have a bit of a thang for little chairs, in general.
Another collection that just sort of snuck up on me!

Give me back my black doll!
I love the photos and of course the doll.
I love them! Those branch chair looks like some things my mama used to have around the house, probably with some faceless amish dolls sitting on it :)
Hey there,
Thanks for stopping by my little blog the other day. I am now your newest follower and love your blog!
Will stop by again soon.
Warmest Welsh wishes.

that is adorable! I love your chair collection.
What an adorable and unique thing to collect! Many of my collections just came out of nowhere too, I know the feeling. Apparently one of my newest collections is photos of people I don't know.
Pretty stuff on the photo. And those little chairs were really cute, too little to be true but they are true but yet you cannot sit on such size. The colors were nice with a bit of a vintage touch, really appeals for those who would see it, sure lots would want to have such too.
I love the retro feel of the place. I totally agree with the quote "Be kind...for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle". That quote really struck a chord in my heart. I'll keep that in mind always.
I love how you used organic materials in your furnishings. The quote was heartwarming too.
