The Pine Cone Folk

I'm hard at work preparing for Deluxe Indie Craft Bazaar. It's hard to believe it's been a whole year since I participated in the first Deluxe, my very first craft show. This year I'll be bringing a wide assortment of handmade goodies, including these vintage-style pine cone people crafted mostly with vintage elements. In trying to pay homage to the spun cotton head Japanese Christmas ornaments of days gone by, I ended up with some rather angry faced little elves who look as if they'd just as soon assault you with a candy cane as bring you holiday cheer. I, for one, am in love with them.

Apparently you like being assaulted with a candy cane.

I love their little expressions, especially the one in the back. I will probably wear the delightful holiday apron I bought from you to the show. If you're still hocking those, I'll send folks your way. :)

That is a beautiful arbor! Wow, your hubby is a darling for building it. My own hubby cleaned up my whole potting bench and area yesterday so I'm not complaining, still, I wish I had an arbor like that! Can't wait to see it after you've "twigged" it.
