Me: Sigh. What's this world coming to? Everyone is hateful and nasty and my Facebook feed is full of people who I have nothing in common with but friended because they asked me to and we were in the same English class in 9th grade. I work all the time, yet my house and yard still look like the scene where an Amnesia-riddled Goldie Hawn sees Kurt Russell's place for the first time in the 1987 hit movie Overboard. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will never end. People are so judgmental. My new job is stressful and I need to lose 40 pounds. The Gulf of Mexico is ruined forever and Nashville is devastated and tornadoes are killing other Okies, and no one "gets" me. Boo hoo hoo. I'm going to go eat worms.....Oh, whatever can this box on my front porch contain?....*SQUEAL*
Will you look at this doll?! Seriously. Could Miss Amy be any more amazing? Look at her hair and her little red high heels, and her dress! My Sweet Lord, do you see the mothereffin' vintage hankie dress?!!
Get over to Miss Amy's Stitch and Kitsch right now and get yourself one, or commission one that looks just like you. Better yet, commission one that looks just like Miss Amy because she is the most gorgeous pretty red-haired beauty lady that ever lived!
Thank you, Amy.

She has an eye for design...
Awwww, she is the sweetest cutest holly doll EVER! Has Ruby seen her yet? You might have to fight over that doll. Amy did a fab job! Quelle jealous!~
That is really pretty darn great ...
What a cute doll, I want that dress. Aww, that doll saved you from virtually stabbing someone...
what a fabulous post...and I adore Amy and all her dolls!
I could not agree more with your list of complaints. I cannot even think of that damn oil spill, and drivers are rude. I am so glad you got a wonderful gift in the mail. I think I somewhat get you. Oh and hit delete on a bunch of those people on FaceBook, girl, that's YOUR party!
Don't go eat worms! I know that life can be overwhelming sometimes, but it takes a truly fabulous person to give as much of a crap as you do as opposed to just sticking their head in the sand. Do your thang, girlie. Everything will work out. And speaking of working out, I wish you lived in BA! You could be my walking buddy (which I'm in bad need of), and we could stroll past the Holly Hall. ;-)
The doll is AMAZING, by the way. It would cheer me up to find that on my porch too!
I feel the same way you do about all the haters and understanding and just craziness in general! I don't think it'll ever go away, no matter how hard we try! But it's the little things like vintage dolls with personality and packages in the mail that make us giddy with excitement, washing away all those problems and warming our hearts :) Enjoy your little prize!
Sweet pillow. It's a doll that does not terrify me. So points for that.
